Black Oak Nights – New York

“Black Oak Nights – New York City” is bringing you “The Launch…At SOCIETY” on August 30^th.

This is our first event, and we want to launch this off right. So come out to SOCIETY, at 535 LaGuardia Place, between Bleecker Street & West 3^rd Street, and get your drink on, your socializing on and get your dance game on right after work, starting at 5:00p.m.

Why are we doing it after work? On a Thursday?

Because at “Black Oak Nights – New York City,” we don’t prescribe to “The Weekend Starts on Friday” rule. And it doesn’t have to be dark to have fun, so we’re serving drink specials all evening and all night long.

• And half price on Martinis and Mojitos

So head out to SOCIETY, dressed to impressed; work attire is recommended. Well, if you missed last week at Katra, I can only feel sorry for you, because it definitely delivered. The people of Black Oak Nights definitely showed up, and blacks and people of color were well represented in an event that was all that it was hyped up to be.

There were birthday parties, hookahs, bottles popped and plenty of dancing young ladies and gentlemen.

But rest assure, Black Oak Nights – New York City won’t do you dirty. We’re bringing it back to Katra this Friday, August 24, 2007, for another go around at Moroccan style partying.

This Friday, August 17^th, 2007, Black Oak Nights is taking the party over to Katra, and it’s free if you say Black Oak Nights at the door.

Come enjoy Katra’s infusion of Moroccan flavor and style. But don’t worry, hip-hop is still the main theme of the night. In fact, we will be taking over a section of the club just for Black Oak Nights and the hip-hop crowd.

The drink specials for Friday night are real simple, 2-for-1 drinks from 10pm-11pm.

Katra offers a special cocktail list that includes several Middle-Eastern originated drinks, including pomegranate, lychee and lavender blossom flavors.
