I know you can’t quite give up your weekend as reluctantly as you’d like, so here are a couple of parties that look to extend your weekends this summer…

10:00 PM: Free Admission at Eden for the first time in a while! Usually going for $20 or $30, this Monday at Eden is a little bit cheaper than normal! It’s FREE! Of course, as we all well know, there’s no such thing as a free lunch. You have to get there before 12 for fellas and before 1 for the ladies. And of course, you have to get on the list, which you can do at list@crisac.com. Trust me, I’ve been to this gig at Eden before, and it’s off the chain. It’s outdoors and if you come with a large enough group and RSVP, you’ll get a free bottle. So come dressed correct and get ready for a little hip-hop on the skyline.

11:00 PM: “Dirty Sexy Money” @ Plumm (246 West 14th Street) – This is one of the best parties you’ll find in New York City… on a Monday night that is. Ladies are free before 1am (with RSVP), and fellas, this may be well worth the price of admission. DJ Self headlines the event, as do several celebrities who grace Plumm regularly. Check it out.

5:00 PM Soundwave Entertainment is bringing you one of the best after work venues in the city. Any young black professional looking to unwind after the first two grueling weeks of the Summer will have to check out Luxurious Tuesdays at Negril Village. Look, if you’ve never been to Negril Village, I seriously don’t know that you can continue to walk the streets of New York City and claim you’re in the know. ‘Cause you’re not! Not if you haven’t seen the sleek décor of this Caribbean themed restaurant that puts the jerk in jerk chicken. DJ Snap will be spinning on the 1’s and 2’s and the dance floor is prime for letting loose. On top of that, they have some of the best Caribbean food in town! So get your groove on, and show up here Tuesday after work. It’s free to get in! And you best not change out of those work clothes, they can be seriously strict at the door.
