Summer nightlife is here, which means you better already be in shape, because three months of drinking, booze and food will certainly have its toll on your body. Nevertheless, vendors, rooftop happy hours and our “Restaurant of the Day” dominate today’s agenda. So here is your Monday Nightlife Rundown for June 7, 2010.

Restaurant of the Day
Good (89 Greenwich Avenue): Yes, the name of the place is “Good.” I was considering going with one my favorites, Porchetta, but I understand that there are a lot of you out there who fear the swine. Thus, I went with Good, a restaurant with gourmet, American cuisine that will absolutely melt in your mouth. From Veal-Ricotta Meatballs to the crispy oysters, you will fall in love with the food so much that you probably won’t leave the place with your wallet. And if you thought the macaroni and cheese at Tillman’s was good, wait until you try Good’s “Green Chile Macaroni”—I don’t even know where to begin!

Magic Mondays – 10pm
Katra Lounge (217 Bowery): Get your week started with the Monday party of the night. Katra is blowing away convention with an all-out Monday night party that will be flooded with young, black professionals. DJ Self will be control of the music, which means hip-hop and R&B will dominate the musical selection throughout the evening. Enjoy happy hour prices and bottle specials all night, as Katra celebrates the summer with a little price accommodation.

Night Strike
Bowlmor Lanes (110 University Place): Make your way to Bowlmor lanes where you can bowl till you drop from one flat rate all night long. Of course, if bowling isn’t your scene, Bowlmor Lanes is the next closest thing to a nightclub. So you can enjoy a happy hour drink, holla at the opposite sex and mix-and-mingle all without ever picking up a 15-pound ball.

Party on the Island – 8pm
Yelp Country Club (Randall’s Island): Obsessive users of Yelp (and I’ve seen you up there!) need to hit up Randall’s Island this evening. Yelp is paying homage to you, the customer, by inviting you out to their version of a country Club on Randall’s Island. The weather is great, they will have food and drink from New York City vendors and you can even play golf.
